🌈 Private suites for furry friends
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Harper (my legal name is Taylor). For me, there are truly too many furry friends and too little time to love them all. I love to watch dogs in my home because it gives me the chance to make new dog friends without adopting a full sled team! I have 2 pups of my own (who stay in a separate part of the house from guest dogs) and am especially passionate about dogs who are extra intelligent or may need a quieter environment, extra rubs, or those who aren’t good around other pets (all boarders get a private room!). I especially love larger dogs. I will take care of your dogs how I want a sitter to take care of mine. This includes plenty of updates and pictures, and paying special attention to the important details like their body language, preferred types of play, and any possible health changes while under my care. I am well versed in basic dog training, body language, and enrichment. the unofficial dog sitter of the movement 🏳️🌈
Reviews
Taylor took great care of Teddy! They were able to get some of his crazy energy out and gave him lots of attention
Taylor does an excellent job in caring for my animals! Always very communicative and professional. Taylor also has experience with senior dogs, medication administration, and did an excellent job with my lab. My lab needs a lot of mental stimulation; puzzles, tricks, and more on a daily basis. Taylor met all his needs with ease and even came up with new ideas! I wish I could book them for all my dog sitting needs, but I’ve unfortunately moved so I cannot. I absolutely recommend them!
I have a very anxious dog, and Taylor is exceptionally kind to her every day. I needed to hire a dogsitter after Goose's separation anxiety got worse with age—Taylor is a miracle! They make Goose feel so cared for and are so laid-back. They have experience boarding dogs, aggressive dogs, and older dogs. On top of that, they have been kind when my freelance schedule changes by a half hour or so. It was a perfect match, and I could not ask for a better daytime dog sitter or dog sitter in general than Taylor.
They are a a responsible and empathetic individual with a deep love for animals. They will undoubtedly care for your pets like a member of their own furry family. Highly recommend!

My partner, Archie (who is also a rover vetted sitter), and I offer private suites and a low stress environment to guest pups. Because we are both sitters, we can team up to help with higher-needs dogs including those who cannot be left alone or who need some extra attention. Each room includes the basics like freshly washed bedding, cozy places to snuggle or hang out, toys, and water. We rarely book more than 1 family of dogs (e.g. 2 dogs from the same household or a single dog) at a time since we tend to take on dogs who need more care like being able to sleep in bed with a human or need company 24/7. We will never book more than 2 families of dogs at a time to ensure all dogs get lots of personalized attention as well as a quieter indoor environment for all involved. Owners can also choose to opt-in to supervised play time on tie-outs in our back yard. While we do not have a fence, this is an option to help extra energetic dogs get their wiggles out. We never leave dogs on tie-outs unsupervised and we never replace agreed upon walks with tie-out time.

Information Taylor W. would like to know about your pet
I have a short survey for all dogs we board: 1. How often do they go out, how long are their walks usually? 2. How much and how frequently does your dog eat meals and get treats? Are there any dietary sensitivities I should be aware of? 3. What is your dog’s energy level? 4. What special behaviors and preferences should I be aware of (e.g. suspicious of strangers, pulls on the leash, likes to be scratched on the muzzle but hates having their paws touched) 5. Any medications? 6. How long can they be left alone for? Do they need to be crated? 7. What commands does your dog know? Are there any training things you would like me to be aware of and maintain (e.g. not allowed on furniture)? 8. Vet info + what to do in case of emergency
A typical day
Our household is up and running by 8am. My dogs and any boarders get their morning exercise and breakfasts before settling into their area in the house. I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule and will log some hours while spending time with guest pups. We currently start receiving daycare dogs at 10 (but earlier can be arranged). The afternoon includes an exercise rotation for all of the dogs in the house to get outside time. Daycare dogs will also get enrichment like a lick mat, kong, or puzzle toy. Daycare pups usually leave by 6pm (later can also be arranged) and boarders will get a walk, their dinner, and lots of cuddles around this time. Last out is around 10pm and boarders are either put to bed or one of us will stay in the guest room overnight with them depending on their needs.
