Hi there! My name is Taylor. I am both a dog owner and a dog lover, and would love to give you peace of mind and help care for your pets when you cannot. I have co-owned dogs with my family for over 20 years, and also pet-sit frequently. I also love to walk (as I'm sure your dog does too!), and even enjoy the cold, so dog walk services in Canada are a joy for me to provide. Types of pets I have looked after include fish, cats, whippets, german shepherds, pitbulls, boxers, bernadoodles, shih tzus, boston terriers, dachshunds, golden retrievers, and more! My educational and professional experience lies in film and video production, non-profit and social work services, and retail. Taylor truly has a passion for any dog, big or small. She lovingly takes care of many dogs, including her own, as well as SPCA dogs in the past. If you decide to entrust her with the care of your beloved pet, they will be loved as one of her own.
Taylor watched our house and animals for us while we were away on holidays. We have a large rambunctious golden retriever and she was happy to look after him. She is reliable and trustworthy.
I have known Taylor as a pet caregiver for 10 years. She is responsible, sensitive and intuitive. When she entrusted me with the care of her dog for two weeks, she included an 'operation manual' that she had written out that was so inclusive; she translated her pup's body language with such accuracy that, as I interpreted according to direction, I was always correct and had a seamless experience and a content pup. As she is with her own, she will be as a caregiver of your dog...she is amazing!

I will carefully follow all instructions given about dogs, their schedules, and your home. I will always ask before assuming it is okay to take your dog off-leash, to dog parks, or giving them new snacks. If I am housesitting as well, the house will be cleaned and as you left it when you return.
Information Taylor W. would like to know about your pet
Good information to know about your dog ahead of time is their energy levels, feeding schedule, how they walk (or pull) on a leash, if they listen well off-leash, and any other fun quirks they possess! I will drop-in for cats as well, but am a little bit nervous around them, as they are more unpredictable with their claws and mood. Please inform me ahead of time if your cat is one of those temperamental kitties. Thanks!
A typical day
Let me know what your dog's favourite activities and spots are; if they are nearby I should be able to accommodate! I myself love all types of walking trails, and I have a pretty good throwing arm for a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or giving a good scrub.

Availability
I currently work full time as a retail key-holder in Signal Hill. As such, my schedule changes from week to week, but I update my availability as soon as I know it. While busy for about 8 hours of the day, I am able to fit in most morning walks, evening walks, and I am also able to stay at your house with your dog if you are away for an extended period.
