To simply say I love dogs and cats would be an understatement. I've been pet sitting & dog walking for years! Being a dog mom myself, I understand how hard it is to leave our fur babies behind. I'm very picky when it comes to finding someone to take care of my dog if I'm unable to, so I know exactly how to make fur parents feel better about leaving their dogs or cats in the hands of someone else. You can leave knowing your animals are with someone who loves them! I also have a leopard gecko of my own, so I'm comfortable assisting with reptiles and other small animals if they are in the home. **I only accept requests from rover profiles that are completely filled out. This includes at least one photo of your pet, and all the information rover asks for. **

This was our first time leaving our dog in someone else’s care. Taylor was very attended to our dog while we are away for 4 days. She took very well care of him, feeding, and walking him, sending updates and photos of him during the drop in visits. She spent more time with him than outlined in Rover, which I’m sure he enjoyed. Taylor communicated and updated us on every visit she made with our dog while we were away. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog in her care, and will begin to use her services more often
Taylor was extremely caring and accommodating for my pups while I traveled. She kept in great contact. Provided extra loving care and tried to keep my highly anxious dogs happy. She was great.
Taylor was great to work with and our dog seems to really like her! She was communicative about each visit and responded quickly to any questions we had.

I have a fenced in yard and I am also walking distance to the beach. I do require that any animals that stay with me in my home, are fully crate trained. My dog is crate trained and crated whenever we leave the home, and I require this of any dogs I am boarding. While dogs are allowed on the furniture in our home, they will be crated to sleep through the night. This is 100% for the safety of your dog. If you have questions or concerns about this, please feel free to ask :) If this something you are uncomfortable with, my "Doggy Daycare" or "Drop In Visits" option may be a better fit for you.

Please let me know if there are any behaviors I need to watch out for with your pupper! Examples would be: ingesting toys, rolling in poop, digging in the trash, running out the front door, etc. I definitely want your dog to be as safe as possible while in my care! Please also let me know of any allergies or food intolerances. This could be people food, certain dog treats, etc. We have lots of different dog treats in our home, and love to offer dog-safe people food as well (carrots, blueberries & other fruit, celery, whipped cream, peanut butter, etc). If you prefer we avoid certain foods or treats, not a problem at all!
A typical day
A typical day for us starts with some time in the backyard, usually playing ball or maybe just taking in some new smells. Around mid afternoon we'll take a walk around the neighborhood, and end up with a relaxing sit on the beach. We'll repeat this in the evening as long as the temperature allows. We also have lots of doggy puzzles in the house if we need a little extra stimulation! We love going out with our dogs, whether it be for our morning coffee & bagel, or sitting at the local beach bar. We also have an overflowing bin of dog toys (thanks Bark Box!) & bones for chewing and playing. Also, alllllll the cuddles & snuggles!!

Availability
This is my full time job :) I love getting to spend my days lovin' on animals! It's truly a dream come true for me. I also love that taking care of dogs holds me accountable to daily exercise & time outside. Bonus points if there's a beach nearby ;)
