Pet care experience
Both of my parents are veterinarians, so I’ve grown up with a ton of different pets my whole life. I have experience with caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, birds, and horses. A lot of my relatives in town also have pets, so I have ample experiencing walking or staying in the home with the animals while they’re out of town! I have experience in recognizing problematic symptoms within animals by working with esteemed veterinarians.

Taylor was great! She dropped in on my cat twice a day. He was given lots of snuggles and I got regular pictures and updates. My Jake was well cared for.
Taylor was responsive when I texted and asked questions and to send pictures. I received a pic of my dog looking very sad. I never see her looking that way and usually receive sitter pics of her happy and interacting with the sitter. Taylor sent me a message to check-out in the morning but was booked until 7pm. She said she would return for a walk and to give dinner. Patie’s food bowl was full of mushy food when I returned. There was water in her water bowl. House was clean.
Taylor was so helpful and communicative in caring for our anxious pup, Manny. I’d definitely recommend her in caring for your pets!!

I spend a lot of time daily with the animals at my own house. I have regular dealings with patience, communication, and gentleness in order to better connect with each animal’s needs. This is how closer bonds with our animals are formed! Keeping a client’s home clean and undamaged is important to keep in mind as well, especially with more active animals. Keeping animals alert through playtime, running, and even just letting them know someone is around can decrease the anxiety of being left alone.

A typical day
Each dog is unique, so tailoring the day around their needs and wants are important! Whether that involves playtime, physical touch, or just letting the dog know I’m there, I pay attention to each dog’s personality. I am an active person, spending a lot of time outdoors, so I am able to keep up with more active pets! There are so many gorgeous places for walks as well in Montana, and the difficulty/length of the walk can be in tune with your dog’s needs. With older dogs that are not as capable for walks, I am able to still give the deserved attention senior dogs need.

Availability
In order to form relationships with animals, a routine is of an all-time importance. Being a part of feeding, watering, and exercising daily is something every animal needs in their own way. I am an active person - hiking, snowboarding, horseback riding, running - so any activity I can do and also bring along a furry friend I’m always welcome to! Our animals rely on us to take care of them, so they are a part of our daily priorities. Spending a ton of time around my own pets leads to treating them as family members, not simply pets.
