Howdy! My name is Taylor, your go-to pet enthusiast! With over 10 years of experience, I've got tails waggin', snakes slitherin', and cats meowin' in no time. When I'm not wrangling my own 2 pets, a 16 year old toy poodle named Izzy and a 4 year old miniature/standard poodle cross named Franny, you'll find me horsin around at my morning job as a equine barn manager or hitting the books for my Ph.D. in Animal and Food Sciences at WVU. You heard that right! I work with animals for a living! It's AMAZING! From paws, scales, toe beans, hooves, and everything else, I have you covered with 6 years of higher education in animal science and all the pet knowledge--including basic veterinary and husbandry skills--your furry friends (or scaley) could ever need! Let's make every wag, slither, neigh, and meow count!!!

I would highly recommend Taylor as a responsible and love pet caregiver. I do not trust my fur babies with just anyone but when I need someone I know I can always depend on Taylor. She is an animal lover, doesn’t matter the animal. She is an amazing caregiver and has more than enough knowledge to be able to take care of my animals and to know how to react in times of emergencies whenever needed. Taylor is the person that comes to mind when I need a pet caregiver.
Highly recommend Taylor! She treats every pet she meets like her own. Knowing that she has been working with animals for so long and also is studying animals in grad school helps me feel more comfortable with her. She knows animal behavior, how to approach different situations with different pet personalities and what to do if anything goes wrong.

I have a 16 year old--incredibly geriatric-- toy poodle. With that, I can ASSURE you that I am very attentive to the animals I take care of. Not only will I keep you constantly updated on your pets health, activity, and happiness, but my two doggies are incredibly well trained. I go on walks (my daily walkies :D) every day (rain or shine) and can assure you that your pets energy demands will be well met. My pets' (and yours) health and happiness comes before mine. Always. With the expansive animal knowledge I have from personal and educational work, I am very conscious of pet behavior and communication and can implore their safety. Our pets are our babies. I have had Izzy since she was 8 weeks old, so I completely understand the stress and anxiousness leaving your furry friends behind can be. With that said, I can promise you that I will always handle your fur-babies with the care and love they deserve. Educationally, I have been working with animals in veterinary spaces, research spaces, and management spaces for over 8 years. I have a bachelors (and minor), a masters, and will (hopefully) have a PhD ALL in animal care, husbandry, science, physiology, and nutrition. You can count on my knowledge to take care of your pets.

Medications and behavior! To ensure the safety of your pets and mine, I need to know the overall behavior of your doggies and what their little quirks are to ensure a smooth time!
A typical day
I go on daily walkies rain or shine! As well, I am well versed on training doggies, playing fetch, going on hikes, doing everything your furry pets need! As well, in regards to any reptiles you may have, I am well versed in feeding frozen-thawed mice to snakes and I understand snake behavior very well, as well as habitat maintenance.

Availability
Currently, I work from 7-10 am every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday a the barn. Beyond that and into my schooling, I am available as such: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays: after 12:00 pm. Tuesdays: after 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, I am available at any time!
