I've personally and professionally worked and lived with dogs, cats, and birds my entire life. I believe in positive reinforcement training and will never use forceful techniques with any animal. Living with animals should be fun and enjoyable! Not stressful. I provided house-sitting and dog-sitting in my own home for about six years. Currently, am most likely able to take two types of requests: (1) Drop-in visits within walking distance of my home in Lancaster city. (2) Home-sitting services with animals who are okay with kids. I can only stay overnight with my daughter in tow. She is 10 months old as of 6/1/21. She is being raised with a puppy, so she is wonderful with animals. Don't worry, my family is okay with this arrangement! My daughter loves traveling and thrives on the occasional change of pace. I don't imagine we will be booking many of these requests, but please do reach out if it sounds good for you! I am more than willing to watch any animal. I follow instructions quite well and treat every animal with love and respect. I would have no issues watching cats and birds, as I have rescued and owned both. I can provide photos of my former buddies upon request, as well as references. I will do my best to care for your buddies of all shapes, sizes, and colors! =) I am able to give shots.
