Let me do the walking :)

Pet care experience

Hello, I'm Taylor and Thank You for checking out my profile! I have been pet sitting for about 10 years now and joined Rover August of 2018 to have an opportunity to meet more families who are seeking the best pet care possible. I took a break and shortly thereafter the pandemic began so I have just reactivated some of my services and I can't wait to meet more amazing families and their pets. I have made some changes to the services I'm offering currently due to adopting my own dog last November 2020. Right now I'm best set up for doing drop-in visits or exercise/walking, I normally offer house sitting too but since I'd have to bring my dog with me if I were to offer that service and that would likely not work for a lot of people. I know I have some house sitting clients that come back to me (Thank you - you rock!) here on Rover so I just wanted to explain why I decided it was best to pause my house sitting services. With that being said, please feel free to contact me and discuss what service you are looking for and I'm always happy to make things work whenever possible! I know how stressful it can be to find the right care for your pet while you are away. Boarding facilities aren't exactly luxurious or relaxing for dog's, and finding someone who will give your pet the time and attention they deserve can be a challenge as well. When you hire me your pet will receive 24/7 undivided attention, lots of love and affection, and tons of play time! I pride myself in going above and beyond to make sure your dog feels at home, comfortable, safe, happy, and loved. I'm an animal lover by default so making pet care my job has allowed me to do something I'm passionate about and thoroughly enjoy doing. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest has taught me to love the outdoors and playing outside. I make sure to keep your pup happy and active by doing what they love to do! Whether that's going for a run on a trail, walking along the river, playing fetch, socializing at the dog park, you name it. After we spend our day playing and doing their favorite activities we most likely will relax and snuggle on the couch, one of my personal favorite perks of the job. If your dog experiences any sort of separation anxiety, social anxiety, fear of other dogs or strangers, etc. that is completely understandable (and more common than most think)! I'm always extremely attentive to how your pet is behaving to pick up any clues they might be in distress or discomfort, I have a very calm demeanor so I tend to do well handling animals who are nervous or in need of special care. I have experience working as a Veterinary Assistant at a local veterinary hospital so I'm comfortable with dogs who have medical conditions or injuries for example, and it's also provided a wealth of knowledge and training when it comes to situations involving an animal's health and wellbeing. I'm more than happy to care for them regardless because I love animals unconditionally, and that is why I choose to be a pet caregiver. If you would like to know more then please don't hesitate to message me with your questions! I'm more than happy to talk with you and fill in any blanks, as well as meet for an interview to ensure I'm the right fit for you and your pet(s). I appreciate you taking the time to check out my profile and I hope to hear from you! Thank You! -Taylor

I can't say enough good things about Taylor. She was super communicative with anything that came up with our dog during her stay. It was easy to coordinate with her and she helped Corrie adjust and feel comfortable during her 10 day stay. We knew our dog was happy and well taken care of with Taylor, so we could relax on our trip. Corrie was definitely sad to say good-bye, but we hope to have Taylor dog sit for us again! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her, she truly cares for your pet like it were her own.

Taylor is awesome! She was a last minute booking to help with my pups on my wedding day! She also was flexible when one of my pups needed their medication and I forgot it at home! Such a relaxed person that my dogs really enjoyed being around which is not normal the first time meeting someone! We will definately keep her in mind for future bookings!

I've used dozens of sitters from Rover and Taylor is absolutely one of the best! She went above and beyond to make sure Danbo got plenty of exercise and attention. She took him to multiple walks and to the dog park, gave him nice wet food when he didn't want to eat his own food, and even gave him a bath every day! I can't speak highly enough of her service. Will come back for sure the next time we need help sitting Danbo!

Taylor has watched my baby boy Salem many many times. She really cares about animals and treats them as if they were her own. She’s communicative and keeps you updated on how your pet is doing. She’s the only person I trust to take care of my cat as good as me if not better. She goes above and beyond and it shows! Thank you Taylor for always taking great care of my baby boy. We love you!
