I grew up with pet dogs and have been a dog mom to Gary for the last 8 years. I help take care of my friends’ and family’s pets when needed as well. I have a very dog-friendly yard and Gary loves having other dogs visit and hang out!

Taylor was wonderful with our Pups. She handled the morning Stop in visits to let them out and get them fed and ready for the day. No problems when we changed things up a little with the routine while we were away. Thank you so much!!!
Taylor did a great job taking care of my old pup! Taylor came by to meet us ahead of time, was very patient, and went above and beyond to make sure my doggo was comfortable and happy. Taylor handled unexpected situations with grace and has a very gentle spirit. Will definitely be requesting a booking again!
Taylor is a huge animal lover and takes excellent care of her dog, Gary. She has also watched my pomeranian, Sebastian, multiple times. I trust her completely and I always know she will keep a close watch on the dogs in her care and follow whatever instructions you give her to the letter. She's got a lovely backyard for the dogs to play in (with a fence that even Gary the climber hasn't gotten out of!). I highly recommend her!
I know Taylor because we work at the same school. During the pandemic, I adopted a puppy and after a few weeks of having him, it was sprung on me that I would need to go back to in person teaching which meant I would have to either find care for him daily or leave him at home alone during my work days. He wasn't old enough to enroll in dog daycare, so I put an SOS out on my social media for a dogsitter. She stepped in and watched him everyday for me for 3 months! I couldn't have entrusted a better person to watch my baby! She made sure he was cared for completely and had lots of playtime outside and would even work on training with him. She's a reliable, consistent and loving pet caregiver. I would 10/10 definitely recommend!

I have a quiet home with a fenced in, dog-friendly back yard. I keep my home clean and open, so dogs are welcome throughout the house. My small dog, Gary, has a lot of experience playing with new dogs and gets along easily with others. While he can be nervous around new people, he LOVES having new dogs over to play or lounge around and sun bathe in the yard with him. He has gotten along well with all types and sizes of dogs - he has a medium energy level and seems to adjust and meet the energy level of the dog(s) he is around. Weather permitting, I spend a great deal of time in my backyard with Gary. I have a doggy toy-basket, a garden and comfy, dog-friendly furniture for napping. When it’s too hot, I hang around inside. I have a dog gate in my kitchen for when I leave home, but am also able to crate your dog if you’d like. Gary gets anxious on walks, but I love them! I would be happy to take your dog on as many daily walks as they like. At night, your dog is welcome to sleep in the space that feels most like home (crate, dog bed, human bed, floor, etc). My dog will typically sleep on the end of my bed or on his blanket nearby.

Of course, please let me know if your dog has any medical conditions or needs. I am happy to follow any routines and schedules that they may follow. My yard is securely fenced, but please let me know if you have any concerns around jumping, climbing, etc. Please let me know which and/or if treats/snacks are acceptable, as well any other important dietary information. Please let me know if your dog has any chewing or digging habits so I can prepare in advance - I have a flower garden and can easily put up a small fence around it to protect it from digging :)
A typical day
I love both active dogs and couch potatoes. I will play out in the back yard with your dog and throw toys around or lounge with them on a sunny blanket in the grass. I love going on walks and would happily take several a day. I live in a great walking neighborhood but also always love going to a park - a few of my favorites are Loose Park, Theis Park, Roanoke and Shawnee Mission Park. I also love snuggling with lower energy doggies on the sofa and watching a movie or reading.

Availability
I am a teacher and have the summer off. With my current schedule, I am able to spend almost all of my time at home. I have a flexible routine and can easily accommodate the daily schedule of individual pets based on their needs.
