I have been caring for dogs since is was around 8 years old. I got my first puppy when I was 8. I had the responsibility of feeding, watering , and potty training her. Since my first puppy, I have cared for many other puppies and dogs. I currently have 4 miniature dachshunds. I have raised all of them since they were puppies. Two of my dogs had a litter of puppies, therefore I have experience caring for new born puppies. Not only do I solely care for my dogs, but I also pet sit for many of my friends and family members . I watch their dogs throughout the day and night. While caring for their dogs I not only feed, water, and take them outside to potty, but I also take them for walks, play fetch, and give them tons of love and affection. Something that sets me apart from other candidates is that I have professional animal caregiving experience! I worked for over a year at a local doggy daycare/kennel. At this establishment, I fed, watered, bathed, groomed, walked, and took the dogs out to potty. I cared for dogs of all different breeds and ages, from chihuahua puppies to elderly Labrador Retrievers. I absolutely loved this job, because I could give the dogs the love and attention they needed while their loving owners were away. I have always had a strong love for animals and it continues to grow everyday!
