Throughout my life, I’ve lived with an array of pets - from tiny gerbils and hefty cats to ginormous Great Danes. I have extensive experience in caring for multiple pets at once, it feels like second nature and no different than my own home! It has simultaneously taught me the value of a routine for pets as they thrive on it, and so do I. My goal is for you to feel confident in your decision to trust me with the wellbeing of your pet and that they feel comfortable with me too. Experience with so many pets over my lifetime has well-acquainted me to the spectrum of personalities and needs. From affectionate cuddlers to high-energy bundles of enthusiasm, I love them all, no matter the size! I tailor my services to match each pets preferences. I strongly believe in meeting dogs' needs for enrichment during walks, recognizing it is primarily for their enjoyment. I’m constantly scanning our surroundings to make sure the walk is as safe and pleasant as can be for us both. Having raised a puppy myself, I’m familiar with the challenges and joys of training a pup. That puppy is my current Basset Hound mix, so you know I can handle the stubborn ones! I have lived and learned the most successful ways to give medications. I’ve provided liquids orally to guinea pigs, eye drops to cats, pills and topicals to dogs. I’m very observant of animal behaviors/body language and I ensure the pet is tolerant of the experience with as much time as the need.
