Pet care experience
I am a mom of three who grew up having a dog and recently added an Australian Shepherd to our family. We love having your pet(s) as our own while they're here with us. We recently moved out onto 40 acres and have woods and even a lake to play in. We no longer have a fenced in backyard, but our yard is lined by the woods and we are happy to let them out on a leash. Your pup will get lots of exercise, and playtime. I am home 4/7 days each week. We have 2 little girls and 1 little boy who love to play, snuggle and even help feed/water the pups. I have been watching different dogs (size and breed) for about 10 years now, and all of my "clients" always come back! Whatever the need, we can always accommodate. We love having your pet as one of our own while he/she is here. I assure you that your pet will be protected and loved on throughout its entire stay! :) We welcome your pet(s) into our home to live their best life on a little vacation without being stuck in a kennel.

We cannot say enough good things about Taylor and her family. She arranged a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure everyone felt comfortable (including our dogs with hers). She listened patiently to our questions and concerns and asked good questions of us. She promptly responded to all communications. During our weekend away, we received updates with pictures. Our pups are not angels and she reported a couple of issues but was nice about them and talked through ways to address.
Cooper seemed like he had the time of his life. Taylor sent daily photos/videos. I would recommend her to anyone!
Taylor and her family took such great care of Macy again! They make us feel so comfortable leaving our dog behind when we go on vacation! Thanks again!

Your pet is treated just like our own pet. If he/she is used to laying on the couch, we will too. Your pet will have alone time if we are not home, because we crate our Ladybug (dog). This allows time for your dog to have his/her own space but also still allows for plenty of playtime as long as we’re home.

If your dog needs crated if no one is home, please be sure to bring this. If your dog tends to mark his/her spot, please let us know. If there is anything “special” regarding your dog, please let us know upfront as we watch your dog in our home - not a kennel. Keeping our house a home allows the dog to have a more comfortable experience but it’s also important that we can keep our home safe and as clean as possible for the humans that live here. :) I also recommend having your dog on some sort of tick prevention beforehand.
A typical day
We have woods surrounding our house, so hikes and exploring off leash (or on) happen daily. My husband likes to play fetch with the dogs out back and our kiddos will love on your dog too. With having a high energy dog ourselves, your dog will be exercised well. If he/she does not want to play with our dog, this is also okay and won’t be a problem. We have a walk out basement that can be his/her own open play space, if needed.

I work outside of the home 3 days a week, but there will still be plenty of time in the mornings, evenings and all weekend to exercise your pup.
