ABSOLUTELY NO RATE HIKES during the holidays. I LOVE PETS! I’ve been a volunteer in several roles at the local Animal Protective League and WILD Canine Rescue for more than 10 years, which has provided me with the skills and personality required to be a great and motivated sitter. I provide individualized, loving care to every animal and am passionate about caring for your pet as if they are my own. I have experience in potty/crate training, distribution of doggy and kitty meds, and I have a strong leash hand. I am experienced in caring for critters of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. If you need a pal to lounge with your kitty or an energetic fetch-buddy, I’m your gal. Furthermore, pet etiquette (petiquette, if you will) is of the utmost importance to me— you need not worry about forgotten piles or doggy spats. I met Taylor through our love of dogs through a local rescue we both volunteer with! Taylor has always been able to care for all types of animals from special cases, to easy going! Taylor is reliable, dependable, and very responsible when it comes to animal care! Taylor's home is clean and tidy, and set up to accommodate different animal needs. Lastly, Taylor's communication skills are professional, personable, timely, and honest! You will NOT regret allowing Taylor to care for your pet, as it will be treated as family, while under Taylor's care!
Taylor was great with our puppy and cat while we were on vacation! She was very good about maintaining our routines with them, and made sure they were well taken care of! She was great about sending updates, pictures, and videos. Will be using Taylor again if we end up going on another vacation in the future!

I have a fenced in yard, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. I do require that all of my guests are crate trained (or at least crate-familiar) as safety is my number one concern. My dogs are crated during the day, but the younger one has free roam of the house at night. The cat goes where she pleases. I live in a relatively quiet neighborhood that is very walkable. You can expect your dog to spend their time playing with our ever-growing collection of dog toys, playing fetch in the backyard, going on daily walkies with Spud and I, and resting on any number of couches or dog beds that I have available. Through my work as an animal volunteer, I have contacts at several area vet clinics and grooming facilities and have experience with giving meds and grooming basics.

I’m excited to be there for your pup! While I don’t require any specific information before going into a job, the more information that you provide— the better prepared I can be to be the best sitter possible. Some helpful information: breed/size/age/name of your pup(s), whether they are on any medication, and relevant habits or mannerisms that your pups may have.
A typical day
Your pet’s entertainment is a top priority of mine (right after safety of course). During their stay, your pet will enjoy all of the comforts of home. Taking in new smells and sniffs on walkies, playing with my resident dog, going to the dog park (with your permission), and/or just high quality couch cuddles. We don’t discriminate based on energy level here ❤️

Availability
I currently work full time in an office however it is a short drive from my home and I often come home on my lunch hour. Pet care is what I do. When I don’t have Rover clients, I’m probably fostering a homeless animal. All dogs that I bring into my home are dog friendly, and I work very hard to provide the most comfortable atmosphere for every soul that spends time in my home.
