Taylor O. has Star Sitter status

The Star Sitter program highlights responsive sitters who deliver highly rated care and have a history of listing accurate availability and preferences, making it easier for pet parents to find the best care for their pets.

Fenced backyard with playmate!

Pet care experience

I have taken care of dogs since I was a little girl and have a deep love for both dogs and cats. I have pet sit for many friends and family over the years and I have also trained a few puppies and experienced owning a senior dog with limited mobility.

Taylor was wonderful! She was so sweet and accommodating to my dog who is a Nervous Nellie and who is very shy. She sent pictures and updates. Would recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her again!

My golden retriever loves staying at this home. I can tell by the photos and videos that she is very happy there. She actually hesitates a little to come with me when I pick her up!

Our pup has stayed with Taylor several times and always is happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!

Taylor was phenomenal. I don't think our 2-year old doggie has ever had more fun. She got so much attention and cuddles that I'm surprised she wanted to come home! :)

My husband and I have a high-energy 3.5-year-old lab, Shepard mix who gets along especially well with puppies or any other high-energy dogs who are submissive as Nova is alpha of the house. We also have a cat who is 10 years old and spends most of her days sleeping on her cat tree (she keeps her distance with dogs and will let them know to stay away so we prefer dogs who will respond well to that) We have a have a split-level house with a gate that is able to separate our fur babies from yours if requested or needed, along with two kennels one that is an XXL and one L. We also do allow dogs on the furniture but prefer not to have them sleep in our bed (not much room with Nova in it)

Information Taylor O. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your pets have any special needs or behaviors I should account for. Has your dog jumped a fence before?! Our fence is about 3 ft on the sides and Nova has jumped it! -Please make sure their care info/ feeding is up to date or label your dogs food so it’s easy for me to keep track. -If you have a dog bed/ blanket please bring it, and treats if they get some regularly! -We have plenty bowls and toys (Nova is a super chewer so I usually don't bring out toys of yours unless they are separated! Nova will destroy them)

A typical day

Our home is in a nicely secluded, low-traffic neighborhood with a yard that is fenced in and the dogs have taken over (we go outside a lot!) Monday-Friday I am up with all the dogs usually around 7-7:30 and we are outside a lot in the morning to get their energy out! Around the lunch hour I do have 2-3 walks that I do Monday-Friday, but my husband is home when I leave or I separate and kennel all dogs for about an hour. In the afternoon we play more in the yard and usually everyone is ready for a nap around 3. My husband does help me out a lot with the dogs, especially for drop off and pick up if I have random drop-ins or walks!
