Was raised by dogs.

Pet care experience

I have had dogs in my life since the day I was born. When I was younger I participated in 4-H for dogs. Learning about different breads, behavior, and training. In high school I was a frequent volunteer at the Human Society. My last companion was Cinder (golden/newphy/chow) who I had since he was a puppy. He has passed away at the old age of 14 and my only current companion is Moab (4yr old Male golden). Currently, I have my own dog I care for along with the occasional house sitting I do for friends, family and Rover or referred clients. I was a nanny for almost 10 years and have much patience when it comes to caring for others. I have a love for all and understand that it's important to have someone you can trust with your furry friend. Please note that my prices are subject to change depending on dog behavior, if I deem that I dog is higher need I might request a higher fee, but I'm willing to be flexible if you are in need. Every dog is different and I want to ensure they get the specialized care that ensures mine and their safety. If your dog is not leash trained, we will focus on training verses distance. If you have a yard, this will include 5 to 10 minutes of play (tug/fetch/ect.), 5 to 15 minutes of focused training and then we will attempt to go on a short walk for the remainder of the time. If your dog is not leash trained please consider booking me for an hour to allow for backyard exercise and training. My fee will include treats and poop bags but it's appreciated if you provide. Please provide your own harness and leash. I'm currently not doing boarding, but could make an exception if you are in need.

As always, Taylor provides Roo with top notch care! We were so lucky to have her on Christmas to help us care for you while we worked. Thanks Taylor!!!

What a absolutely amazing sitter Taylor was for us. Her doggo Moab was the perfect pupper for our pup to play with—sweet, loving and playful. Taylor thought to ask the important questions before taking Roo to her home. I felt safe leaving Roo in her care. She was also extremely flexible and kind. She modified our stay dates with no issue after I got called off work. What a dream. Thanks Taylor!

I will only play with your dog in your yard if it is securely fenced. Even if you say they are recall trained, I will not risk a dog running away. Please consider supplying your own treats and poop bags, but I can supply. I will restate. If your dog is not leash trained, a walk will include play time and train time and we will not focus on distance. I'm currently not doing boarding or house sitting, but could be open to it.

Information Taylor N. would like to know about your pet

Do they have have any special needs? Are they aggressive with other animals or children? What is the longest they can be left alone? What grooming needs do they have? Do they have any health issues? Are the kennel trained? Are the leash trained? What is their energy level?

A typical day

I love to train and play. I think it's important dogs get mental stimulation. If you have a yard, it's great to get some play time in beforehand if the dog is high energy. I also want to ensure the dog is a good walker, so training will also be involved. If you have any other training requests, I'm open to helping with training. I will walk your neighborhood unless you are close to Mt. Tabor or other green space, I can take them there on special request. I'm open to do hikes with your dog for an additional fee. I do not go to dog parks because I feel they are too high risk.

I'm currently an online student. I like to take breaks from my work and am open to last minute bookings. However, I might not always be able to except them if I have a busy day. I'm open to scheduled routine walks, but we will have to make sure our schedules work out and I do appreciate flexibility.
