Thanks for checking out my profile! I may be new to Rover, but taking care of pets is nothing new to me. Growing up, I was known as the go-to dog-sitter in the neighborhood and have had several furry companions in my family's home—Guinness, Surly, and Stella, to name a few. My love of dogs followed me into college, where I volunteered at the local animal shelter in Grand Forks, North Dakota. After moving back to Minnesota, I began volunteering with the Animal Humane Society as Dog Adoption Support. I have been with AHS for over a year now! For over five years, I've had the opportunity of socializing and caring for breeds of all shapes and sizes. Talk about the amount of accrued slobbery dog kisses—but I'm not complaining.
