Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was about 16! I am now 26 and proud to say I’ve been in the pet care industry for 10 years. I have been essential to family and friends for years for professional pet care. I have 5 plus years of experience working in dog daycare and boarding facilities as well as vet tech experience. I also volunteered for Live and Let Live rescue in Chichester NH. Working with a rescue has given me great tools to work with animals that may be shy or skittish.

We have a senior rescue dog and Taylor has been exceptional with helping transition him to a new sitter and person in the home. Taylor is calm and has an experienced and secure approach that has been very successful with our pets. Taylor is also prompt and very good at communicating with scheduling and planning our visits.

With the years of experience that I have with dogs (and other animals) I am well trained in body language and the signs to look for if anything may be wrong. This gives myself and pet clients security in knowing that if anything were to go wrong that I’d have the ability to know what to do and have quick thinking in such situations.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors prior to dropping in for visits. This will better prepare me for what best fits your dogs needs. For example: allergies, fears, likes/ dislikes, triggers, medications, medical conditions Please note: If you are booking a housesitting request and you have cats, I am unable to do overnights in homes with cats as I am allergic. I am however able to complete drop ins for cats as it isn’t triggering to my asthma to spend short periods of time with them.
A typical day
We’ll take long walks within their neighborhood to explore new smells and experiences! I will also provide treats to provide a positive experience while out on our walks. One of my favorite things is taking pictures of animals. I strive to get the best photos to send to clients while they’re away missing their pets!

Pet care fits into my lifestyle full time! I have dedicated all of my time to caring for animals because it is my passion. My life wouldn’t be complete without the every day experience of taking care of all kinds of animals! And I am fortunate to get to say that this is my full time job.
