"Happiness is a warm puppy"

Pet care experience

As a dog sitter and walker, my goal is to provide peace of mind for pet owners while they're away. I believe that great customer service starts with communication - I love providing updates via text, phone, email, etc. Humans like to know that their dogs are being well-cared for, and the easiest way to show them is through pictures. I have 2 dogs of my own, both are around 60lbs. I have experience with watching others' dogs as well. I have volunteered at the humane society and have experience with and socializing dogs. Daily updates will be provided via text, Rover, or e-mail--I want to keep you in the loop! For overnight stays, I am available for a pup check-in after work, then return around 8pm for the evening. I'll stay through the night and provide morning care before leaving for work around 7:30. I also have the flexibility to leave work at lunch for a potty break and walk. I have two dogs at home, Brewer and Lupin. Lupin has visual deficits and Brewer requires daily oral medication, so I feel comfortable with dogs that have special needs. My husband and mother take care of our dogs while I'm staying with yours! As a home health Registered Nurse, I understand the importance of staying at home in a known environment (for both our people and dog friends)! Rover has been an incredible tool for me, allowing us to take family vacations where we are able to relax or not leave anyone out. Why should you choose me as your sitter? Firstly, your doggos will love me! And your people will love that I'm punctual and tidy, leaving your house as clean as you left it! I am also very familiar with parks and safe dog walking areas north of Nashville and have a high-quality camera to send glamour shots of your pets. I love working with dogs in any capacity, and am so excited to get to know yours. Please reach out to me to set up a meet and greet so we can learn more about each other before the stay!

Taylor is extremely passionate about the care and well being of her dogs and those that she encounters. She is patient and calm and puts dogs at ease when they are around her. Taylor is a great pet parent and loves caring for animals, so rest assured your dog will be in great hands!

Taylor loves her dogs Brewer and Lupin in a way that I have never seen anyone else love their animals. She treats them as family and constantly provides them with love and attention. In addition to being the most animal loving person I know, she is also one of the most responsible and organized people I have ever met. There is absolutely zero chance that any animal she takes care of would get anything less than the very best of care. Taylor is a nurse and excels at taking care of people; she will be an amazing caregiver for your animals. If you want to rest easy knowing that your pups are being looked after responsibily and being loved on consistently, you should definitely have Taylor take care of your pets.

Taylor is a fantastic dog sitter!! I have two dogs that are both unique in character and Taylor understood exactly what each dog needed. I fully trust her staying in my house and providing my dogs with the love and care they are used to! She is an excellent person and will continue to take care of my dogs for years to come!

Information Taylor N. would like to know about your pet

I have no breed preferences, and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Things I would like to know are special care needs (meds, required rest periods, etc) and how the dog does around other dogs to determine viable walking routes in the area. I think dogs are able to sense that I'm a dog person and are often comfortable with me. In the event of a shy or skittish dog, I would allow the dog space and time to get used to my presence without forcing myself on the dog.

A typical day

When your dog stays with me I will tailor the way we spend our time to the dogs needs, routines, and abilities. Whether they love to get out and run around, or they are a couch potato (or like most of us, somewhere in between) I will make sure your dog is doing what they love. I am very familiar with north Nashville parks! There are multiples in Hendersonville alone (with my favorite being Sanders Ferry Park and the greenway by the library). Many other towns nearby have great parks as well and Centennial is a great place to tire out a dog. If your dog has a favorite park they love to visit, please let me know!
