Pet care experience
I have worked at a no kill animal shelter for little over four years! I also grew up with caring for dogs and cats properly. I helped my parents care for Great Pyrenees when they was in the breeding business. I currently have 4 dogs and two cats of my own which they are family! I have dog/cat sat for plenty of people and will not mind getting references :) I have rescued plenty of kittens and dogs from the streets and cared for them till they were healthy enough to get into forever homes! I decided to quit working at the animal shelter after 4 years of being an Animal Control Officer in a no kill shelter and get a better feel on learning about other ways of animal care. I now work at a Veterinarian hospital. l highly enjoy this job for I have learned quite a bit of stuff when it comes to care of animals and what to look out for if an animal is sick, stressed, etc. I hit my 2 year mark and now became a Veterinarian assistant! I currently work 8am-5pm with an hour lunch break Monday-Friday ! I will go by my client’s rules for instance , if a dog needs to be crated …they will. I am very good at keeping up with giving medicine for I have been giving shelter dogs medication for over 4 years if that is needed. I am a huge animal lover and want to make the animals I care for feel as safe and possible. I love taking dogs out for walks and letting them get out and enjoy nature! I have fostered out plenty of dogs to get them out of the shelter environment till they can get their forever homes! I also have brought the dogs I dog sat out to pet smart to get treats for them and toys! I have dog sat dogs ranging to the 10 pounds range all the way to the bigger guys! I also will not mind one bit to send videos and/or photos to the owners to make sure they know their pets are well taking care! I’m here to make your loved ones feel comfortable and be happy while their owners are away!

I was an animal control officer for 5 years. I have loved animals my whole life. I have lived in multiple states and met thousands of people in my life. Nobody I have ever met comes anywhere near close to Taylor Minor in how great she is with animals. I have seen numerous occasions where a dog was running, nobody could get within 50ft of it. Taylor shows up and the dog runs up to her and jumps in her arms. (She had never met them before). She is truly amazing with animals. I have 4 dogs of my own. Whenever I go on vacation she is the only one I trust with my dogs. I know with certainty my dogs are getting so much more than let out and fed. Anyone can watch a dog, taylor will love it.
Taylor is an exceptional dog caregiver. She has worked for the Tullahoma Animal Shelter for four years, and before that she was a constant volunteer with one this to motivate her: her love for dogs! She cares for the 30+ dogs at the shelter like they are her own. Taylor has also dog sat for me when I was out of town. I never once worried about my babies with her watching over them. Taylor is very professional and not prejudice toward any breed of dog. She truly loves them all. I recommend Taylor Minor as a responsible and loving caregiver.
First off Taylor is a phenomenal person and animal lover!! She use to dog sit for us all the time when we would go out of state. Our dogs loved her so much and she always took such good care of them for us! I would recommend her to anyone!!!
Taylor has watched both of our babies in our home for days at a time and also daily walking and playtime when we are unable to get home during the day. My “girls” always are so happy to see Taylor. Our boxer had health issues and I would call Taylor to come over and help give her medicine. She has such a way with dogs. When our boxer passed in December Taylor sent us a sweet card saying how sorry she was. I can’t say enough about Taylor and her love for animals. It’s obvious in the devotion they show to her . I 100% recommend Taylor without hesitation . One more thing that I loved is how she would send us pictures of the girls daily showing that they were happy and being loved while we were gone.

I have 4 dogs in general. 3 are inside/outside dogs and my last one is a full outside dog due to him preferring the outside. My dogs have free roam of the yard , about little over an acre fenced in and when we go our side of the fence; they have free roam of 5 acres. They have the opportunity to either sleep in my bed or sleep on their dogs beds and/or couches. They have a feeding routine with a few human scraps here and there! During Spring/Summer/Fall, we love to take our dogs out to adventure the outside world. With client’s services, I follow the instructions the client’s give. I understand not everyone let’s their animals do this and that so I will respect that. If you’re dog isn’t allowed up on the furniture, they will not be there. If they aren’t allowed to be in a certain room, you will not see them in there. I wouldn’t want to mess up a routine a dog has been on and/or learning.

A typical day
I’m willing to stay with your pets for at least an hour, playing with them and walking them! I love to relax and make your pet trust me and possibly become best friends!

I do work a full time job but I will be sure your babies are took care of. I have dog sat plenty of times and also had time to care for the babies. I am not the type to check up on your dogs for 5 minutes and then leave. I want to build a bond with your animals and make sure they feel safe with me!
