Dog sitter extraordinaire!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Taylor and would like to thank you for considering me as a potential sitter for your pup! I currently reside in the northern Huntington Beach area near Sunset Beach. I live an active lifestyle and love spending time in nature hiking and exploring. However, I don't mind curling up on the couch and enjoying some down time if your dog is on the mellow side. I've had pets of all kinds throughout my life, from dogs to reptiles, so my services go beyond just dog care. I am confident in my skills with animal care and training and can promise to treat your loved one with the up-most care, love, and respect! Please note my house is full of plants and it would be preferable to have dogs stay with me that aren't curious enough to take a chomp from one of them! Also, I cannot take dogs into my own home for boarding longer than 2 days depending on the day/time of year. Please feel free to contact me for extended stay options, or if you have any questions related to my services :)

I did not book long enough for my trip. Taylor was more than accommodating in extending the stay.

This was my first experience using Rover. I was a little apprehensive letting a complete stranger care for my pup in their home. It could not have gone any smoother. Taylor was quick to communicate, friendly and had a warm inviting home. She updated me while I was out of town with pictures to soothe my worry and let me feel at ease so I could concentrate on where I was. Taylor was fantastic, I recommend and will rebook with her again.

Taylor was great with the pups. Arrived on time. Walked them both. We'll be scheduling visits with her again.

On time, nice picture with sweet message and walking. I am sure Bagle had a great time with Taylor. She said that Bagle is her favorite. Bagle is flattered..

Information Taylor L. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know about your dog's energy level (can't accept dogs requiring more than 2 walks a day), how well they listen to commands and what ones they know, if they have separation issues (whining, barking, stomach problems, destructive behavior), and any special needs they have. If you would like to board, your dog MUST be good with small dogs. I cannot accept dogs who bark too much due to my apartment's noise restrictions. For puppies 0-2 years old, they must be trained well on commands and potty breaks, and be OK inside the house for long periods of time. I will always consider puppies but require a meet and greet prior to booking dog boarding only (does not apply to drop ins, home sitting, or daycare) For older dogs, PLEASE SPECIFY SPECIAL NEEDS. I have experience with older dog needs like help up the stairs, diapers, medications, potty problems or bleeding issues, etc., but need to know this prior to solidifying your stay with me. For walks and drop in visits, I would like to know if they are OK around strangers and children and if they tend to pull while leashed (especially for big dogs). Please let me know if they tend to nip as well. I do not have breed preferences as long as they are OK with what's listed above :) I am OK with dogs with special needs for drop ins, just indicate what needs to be done!

A typical day

My community is dog friendly so there's plenty of space for walks. I enjoy playing tug-of-war or fetch with pups who love to play. I live near the Brightwater trail and nature reserve and that is primarily where I walk.
