I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, lizards, fish, etc. and was very involved in 4-H dog obedience and showmanship. In my experience, if you can train an independent and strong-willed husky to pull a sled AND successfully complete an obedience test, you can do anything! After our huskies passed away, my family bred and sold 4 litters of dachshund puppies who have all been placed in loving forever homes. I am experienced with puppy development and training. I am also experienced with pet and house-sitting and have even managed a small farm for a month while their family vacationed through Europe.
