**NOTE** As of August 11, 2017 I am temporarily away because one of my pups is having medical issues. [EXPERIENCE] As a mom of 2 pit bull rescues and a rescue kitty, I feel very comfortable around animals of all shapes and sizes. I treat your animals like they are my own because I understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with their care while you're away. I have dog/house sat for friends and acquaintances for years and am excited to offer my services through Rover. I started on Rover in August 2016. I'm comfortable walking dogs, administering medicine (with appropriate instructions), snuggling/playing and ensuring dogs don't get into too much mischief! I have worked with dogs with anxiety so I know my way around a Thundershirt as well. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions! Please let me know if your pup has any medications they must take and if they have separation anxiety or little quirks. And although it seems like TMI, I like to know their poop schedule so I know what's normal for them. I love ALL dogs and have no breed preferences. I especially love dog sitting for breeds that are often misunderstood, like my pitties.
A typical day
[SERVICES] I offer drop-ins, walks and house sitting. A drop-in is a 30 minute visit that includes feeding and bathroom breaks. I usually fill up the 30 minutes with a short walk and playing with toys. If you book a walk, it is a full 30 minute walk but does not include a feeding. For house sitting, I often describe it as treating your place as my "home base" during the booking, meaning I will stay there and your pup will be out whenever I am there, as if I was home with my own fur babies. [WHAT WE DO] It all depends on their personality! If they are low-key and like snuggling and chewing on toys, I'm all about that. If they have a lot of energy (as my 2.5 yr old does), we can go for walks, play catch or work on tricks.
