My boyfriend and I have both grown up with pets always around us, ranging from different ages and different temperaments of cats and dogs to hamsters, bunnies, and horses. Now, we have a cuddly 5 1/2 year-old, male golden retriever of our own, named Cooper! He gets along well with other animals by matching their energy and has never had an issue with another animal. We currently live in Arlington, VA and are always looking for ways we can share our love for animals and give our own pup a playmate. We regularly look after our family and friends pets, and we would love to look after yours too! We are open to whatever you and your pet may need and you can ensure we would care for them like they are our own fur baby.

Our 2 year old golden retriever Bella had a wonderful time staying with Taylor & Joseph for 3 weeks during the holidays this year. We are so grateful that we found them since we were able to enjoy our vacation in Asia (12h time difference) without worrying so much about our dog Bella. Taylor made sure to send us pictures and videos plus kept in touch throughout Bella’s stay as we requested. Bella had so much fun with their golden retriever Cooper and felt right at home with them. She has never been boarded before but right away when we took her to meet Taylor, Joseph and Cooper, she was running around having fun with Cooper and feeling safe and happy which was so important to us. Taylor and Joseph cared for Bella as if she was their own dog and she slept with them in their bed every night. They made sure to follow all the instructions we gave them for her strict diet plus all her medications. We are so fortunate to have found them and we can’t wait to book them again for short and long stays so Bella and Cooper can run around together. We highly recommend them as petsitters and know that your pet will be safe and loved during their stay with them.
Joseph was great! He accepted a last minute request and took great care of our dog. His dog Cooper seems like an ideal playmate too.
Taylor is an absolutely fantastic sitter! Her love, care, and devotion for her own dog is remarkable, and her puppy is one of the most well-behaved, joyful dogs I've ever met. She takes amazing care of my dogs, who can be a bit tricky with the wrong person. Her patience and love for animals is incredible, and I've never felt safer leaving my dogs with someone than I feel when she's taking care of them!!
Taylor and Joey have looked after my dog multiple times while I’m out of town. They are incredibly attentive to my dog’s needs and provide me with plenty of updates and pictures throughout the day. My dog gets so excited whenever we go to their apartment and loves playing with their golden retriever. It gives me peace of mind knowing they provide him with plenty of exercise and affection while I’m away. I highly recommend Taylor and Joey!

Availability
We live in a very pet-friendly apartment, where we can go on long walks and check out the dog park if you’re comfortable with that. We both work from home in Arlington, so we are flexible throughout the week and weekends for walks, check-ins, and boarding.
