Pet care experience
I’ve had and taken care of animals since I was a kid. I’ve had a bunny, hamster, fish, and a few dogs! I currently have two cats Finn and Echo who are both rescues. I’m familiar with training with treats, I taught my cats to sit before they eat :) I am also familiar with taking care of elderly animals and giving medications. I also understand that not all animals are the same and they have different needs! For example my cat Finn is very sensitive where my other cat Echo needs more attention and play time! I will be sure to treat your animal with respect and give them what they need while you’re away! I also love plants and don’t mind taking care of them too :)

Taylor did 2x daily drop-ins with our cat Neko over~10 days. She was a great communicator, providing detailed updates after each visit along with excellent photos of Neko. She made fast friends with him on her orientation visit and kept him engaged while we were away. We would definitely work with Taylor again and recommend her enthusiastically.
Taylor took great care of our cats during her drop-in visits!! I could tell from the pictures she sent that our cats were super happy with her too, even our really shy cat who usually hides from strangers :)
Taylor was amazing! I've never seen our kitties warm up to a new person so fast. She is a great communicator and provided us with very detailed visit summaries. Taylor also has a good eye for cute cat photos, and sent us many wonderful pictures of our furry family while we were away. In addition to all of that, she is very observant and picked up on several minor things we had forgotten to mention to her, and brought them to our attention quickly and with proper urgency. Needless to say, we'd enthusiastically recommend her to any other cat owners, and will be a little sad if she's unavailable the next time we have to travel.

A typical day
I can come by and spend some quality time with your pet since I know they need attention whether it’s cuddles and pets or just respecting each other’s boundaries! I will make sure they have food as instructed and fresh water each visit. I can do additional tasks if you need me to and I’ll be sure that your pet is safe before I leave! I live downtown so there’s plenty of places to walk to :)

Availability
I am a full time student and my class schedule changes quarterly. I usually only have class two days a week and am available the rest. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around what hours your need me! I can be a night owl or early bird :)
