I’ve been caring for dogs passionately, professionally & full-time for over 3 years. Currently I am only able to provide walking, drop-ins and house-sitting. However, I used to also provide day-care and boarding, so I have a huge amount of experience caring for all sorts of dogs, in all sorts of situations. From the age of about five I grew up with at least 4 dogs in the house, until I moved to the UK (from Louisiana) several years ago. My partner Sam and I have recently moved to Sheffield from Bath, where we previously ran our business. In Bath we built up really great relationships with the dogs we looked after, some of them came to us regularly for more than two years! Since moving to Sheffield, Sam has taken on a full-time job outside of dog care and has therefore taken a step back from the business. Occasionally at weekends or during time-off Sam will still join me for walks etc, the dogs love having an extra friend to play with. It’s actually hard to tell who enjoys it more – Sam or the dogs! I am continuing to provide high quality care full-time and as passionately as ever. Now living in Upperthorpe, I am happy to travel locally. If your dog has any quirks or special requirements, I’m more than happy to speak further with you to make sure they’re being looked after exactly the way they need to be. I have a lot of experience with nervous dogs and understand the patience they need. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and special requirements, so any concerns you might have, please feel free to just get in touch. I always like to arrange a meet and greet with dog/s and owners before I look after them, so that I can get to know your dog / make sure they’re going to be comfortable being looked after by me. :) My prices can be flexible - just get in touch and we can discuss. I don’t do this job for the money, I do it because I love providing the best quality care to dogs, so I’m always happy to negotiate! Dog care is my full-time job and main commitment. I am happy to be flexible on times and days. If you let me know what care you need and when, I'll be happy to work with you to find a solution that suits you and your dog. I always walk dogs in secure and safe environments, I will never put a dog into a situation that they are not comfortable with. On walks I can prove a long-line for additional security and I always carry high value treats to aid recall.
