I would guess that the only reason I learned to walk as a baby, was so I could walk the Dog! From very hyper black Labs to teacup Yorkies, I have experienced the ups and the downs with them. Growing up, I raised 4-5 on my own and 3-4 with the help of my family. Two of them were already “set in their ways” (I do not advise) LOL! For example; teaching them to be COMPLETELY house-broken, simple commands like sit and stay, going into their kennels at night time, and “rounding-up” their toys at the end of the day! I went to nursing school and have watched countless episodes of The Dog Whisperer. So basically I’m a Vet Dog Expert LOL, Just kidding! But seriously- Having a dog makes each day 10 times better. Especially the days when you’re 30 minutes late, spill your piping-hot coffee in your lap on the way to work, and the company printer runs out of ink 5 times and jams up like 5-o’clock traffic 27 times BEFORE lunch. But when you come home to a jumpy, happy, super-excited to see you pup, your cares disappear!! So, take that dinner date or weekend vacation you’ve been wanting. Kennels may be cheaper, but cheap ain’t good and good ain’t cheap!
