Pet loving law student :)

Pet care experience

I am a proud god-mom to three of my friends' dogs and have a sweet pup of my own. I’ve had dogs my entire life and consistently dog sit for friends and family. I live an active lifestyle so I’m always walking my own pup as well! I also have cat-sat so have experience with them as well.

Taylor is great with animals. She watched my dog while I was overseas, and took the best care of him. He had an emergency while I was gone, and Taylor took him to an emergency vet to make sure he was taken care of promptly. She is the only person I trust to care for my dog, she treated him as if he were her own.

Safety, trust & environment

I like to keep to a schedule (which helps dogs especially when they’re anxious, i.e., when their owner is not home/around a new person, etc), make time for enrichment activities alongside walks, and positive reinforcement. I also love to bring my dog with me to run errands and out to eat during patio season. Also lots of pets and cuddles!

Information Taylor H. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if there are any special needs or accommodations for your pup. I have experience with nervous/anxious dogs, as well as highly reactive ones, and it's best to know who I'm working with beforehand so I can plan around their needs. I'm happy to accommodate and set boundaries with you and your pup to keep them happy, healthy, and safe!

A typical day

A typical day will start with a potty break, breakfast, and a morning walk/playtime. Following lunch, there will be a mid-day break. For the evening, I like to end the day with a long walk or an active session to tire the pup out for the night (opt to do this before dinner because playing and activity right after eating is dangerous for dogs). Instead of a dog park, I like to utilize large fields/open spaces with no one else or dogs there for safety. After dinner, one last potty break before my own nighttime routine!
