Pet care experience
I can’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog. I’ve been relied on by numerous friends and family members to watch over their beloved animals. I have a miniature dachshund of my own now and I would literally die for her. I understand how much people love their pets, so it is my mission to ensure that your furry friend has the time of their life while you’re away. I can send you pictures or videos every day and give you little updates about your pet throughout the day. My dog loves to play with other dogs of all sizes, so if you want your pet to enjoy some socialization, I’m sure Noodle would love to make new friends. However, if for whatever reason you would prefer that your pet not interact with other dogs, I will accommodate accordingly. I am very flexible and very understanding, and all-around would just love the opportunity to hang out with dogs all day. So whether you’re looking for something short term, long term, or you aren’t really sure yet, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me about a booking. I work from home full-time and make my own schedule, so whether you need someone for walks, or need someone to watch your dog for an extended period of time, I would be able to meet your needs. I am more than happy to stay at your home or drop in during specified intervals if you're needing an overnight sitter. I’ve nannied and house sat numerous times, so I’m happy to do other tasks in your home if you need me to water your plants or bring your mail in or anything like that. I am more or less available 24/7 for just about anything you need! So don't hesitate to reach out. :)

Taylor was amazing! Constant updates and the dogs loved her. She wore them Out so when they were home alone they were too tired to care they were alone. Very pleased with her and will have her back!

I always ask for a thorough run down of your pet's routine so I can stick to it, and minimize the stress they'll feel while you're away. I'll always make sure to, at the very least, stick to a consistent feeding and walking/potty routine. But I try to go above and beyond, and make sure your little one(s) feel extra loved and cared for while you're away. Even just for brief walks, it's always exciting for your pup to see an unfamiliar, friendly face to keep things interesting! I love being outdoors, so I will gladly take your doggos to the park or maybe on a hike (with your permission of course). I love going for walks myself, so I am more than happy to provide multiple walks per day and/or a visit to a nearby park on a daily basis. Whether you want me to maintain your existing routine, or take your pups somewhere new to mix it up, I'm happy to oblige. Whatever will keep them the happiest!

As long as I'm given thorough instructions regarding feeding, walking, potty breaks, medications, etc. I can handle the rest! Some parents leave behind an entire color coded binder, and some just give me a general run down. I will gladly accept any/all information you want to give me about your pets ahead of time, but with as much experience as I have, I should be able to manage with just a basic schedule. Plus if I have any questions, I will never hesitate to reach out through the Rover app!
A typical day
Most people don't realize how much physical and mental stimulation most dogs need to be content. A lot of dogs require much more than a daily walk, so I'm always thinking of new ways to keep the pets that I care for entertained. Whether it's taking them to a park or on a hike (with your permission), or playing with some mentally-stimulating puzzle toys, I do my best to make each stay/walk exciting. My goal is to uphold your pet's schedule while making sure they feel safe and loved until their parent(s) gets home! If you'd prefer I don't take your pet to a new place, or if they generally don't play well with others, just let me know ahead of time so I can make sure they're always comfortable with their surroundings.

Availability
I work from home/set my own day-to-day schedule, so I can be very flexible regarding last minute bookings or long over-night stays. I always keep my calendar updated, so if there are any dates where I am fully unavailable, you will know (no surprise cancellations on my end). I don’t mind early morning or late night visits and I’m more than happy to stay at your home to dog watch for as long as you need me. If there’s ever some thing you need just ask and I can let you know!
