Excited to meet your furry friends!

Pet care experience

I have had my husky Mia since she was first born, she is now 5 years old. Our newest member Maverick who is 3, was adopted this past November. They both are full of energy, always ready to play. I have helped to take care of all of my siblings, parents, and friends dogs. We are a dog loving family! In my personal home, I have a fully fenced in yard, plenty of space indoors, and I do have 2 children under the age of 4. I do require that you provide a crate/kennel for your pet so that I may keep my house free of urine, poop, and property damages throughout the nights they are here. If you are unable to provide one, I keep two spares on hand. Accidents happen, but we do want to keep the cleanliness of our carpets and home and safety of all animals as much as possible, thank you for your understanding! I am available at anytime time for pick up and drop offs! If you would like to do a meet and greet beforehand, please shoot me a message and we can get everything set up for you! Your pup is free to roam wherever they’d like, we have no off limit zones in our home. I typically would prefer to kennel your pups if I do have to leave the home for a period of time. We do feedings based on your schedule, and away from any other Rover dogs to control food issues. Please be aware that I do board multiple dogs at a time, so your pup may or may not have an extra few friends for the week. We typically hit max capacity during Holidays!

Our dog had a great time there while we were out of town! We got updates and photos on how he was doing. Our flight ended up being canceled and we needed to come home the next day and Taylor was super accommodating and helpful in letting our dogs stay one more night.

Taylor and her husband were very understanding and accommodating when my flight was suuuper early in the morning and they let me bring Otto’s stuff the evening before. The next morning, my father in law came to drop my dog off and said he got out of the car and couldn’t even hear himself think because of the insanely loud barking from several other dogs in their front room. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with that, just an observation he made. The evening I dropped Otto’s things off, I went over all of the things in his bag including some wet food pouches I wanted him to mix with his food twice a day. I came home to the pouches untouched. Taylor’s husband had let me know that Otto hadn’t been eating great the last couple days. I quickly realized it’s because they hadn’t been using the wet food I told them to. I worry that they may be overstretched with too many dogs who all have different needs, that easy important things fall through the cracks. I would suggest using them when they have fewer dogs, so they get more one on one attention.

This was not a good experience for us. My dog has never been boarded before so I thought it would be great for him to be with a family and with two other dogs . Just did not work out. My dog is a golden retriever and has that beautiful reddish gold fur. He came home with huge patches of fur missing, scratches all over, one good size open sore and another pretty deep bite mark that was easily identifiable . We have an appt with the vet for Monday. My boarder did send me a picture of the wound on His back the day it happened and told me she did not see it happen so was not sure how it happened. I ended up sending my daughter to go pick up my dog a day early. He clearly had been thru quite a lot.

We were able to do a meet and greet prior to boarding my pup. He did really well with them and was able to play with other dogs while there.

We love a good walk in our house. I will plan to take your dog on daily walks or we do a lot of playtime outside in our yard, all dependent on weather. We board multiple dogs at once during a typical week or during holiday weekends, so your pup will always have plenty of friends to keep them busy.
