Pet care experience
My parents had me take care of every family dog since I was about 5 years old. And in my teens the rest of the family, aunts, uncles, grandparents, have had me take care of heir dogs, and occasional birds. I absolutely adore dogs! My roommate got a Shiba Inu, which is a difficult breed so I mostly trained him to become a lovely dog that loves people. I recently adopted a senior pit bull mix who had been in the shelter for over a year and a half and she's now just as well behaved. I love big dogs, my first dog was a large boxer named Maxwell, named after the singer of course, but I like all types of dogs and have gotten to know a number of different breeds and sizes of dogs and appreciate each and every one of them, and I would love to get to know your dog!

I have created a nice calm environment for my dogs at home to ensure their happiness and keep them from any unnecessary anxiety, especially since the Shiba Inu is prone to anxiety. I would naturally do the same in your home to make sure your pet feels safe and happy at all times.

I would like to know what their response is to other dogs on and off leash, how reactive they are to other dogs, if they have anything that makes them nervous on walls such as skateboarders, bikers, runners, or anything else they feel uncomfortable with. And I'd love to know what best motivates them whether it's treats, toys or praise, and if they have any allergies or aversions to any foods, especially chicken since that is a common allergy.
A typical day
Living in NYC makes it pretty easy to find parks in most neighborhoods. I like to walk around them and allow the dogs I walk to experience areas with large grassy areas where they're able to use their natural instincts in a positive way.

I'm currently working a hybrid schedule, so am available all day weekends, and am working from home on Tuesday and Friday with work ending at 1:30 during summer Fridays.
