Better friend with dogs than humans
Pet care experience
I’ve had many dogs of my own as well as house/dog sat for up to 4 animals at a time ranging from most household pets. I’ve taken a few training classes and know the basics of action/reward. Whatever your pets into, I’m down for walks, runs, fetch, tug, cuddles, and why not a game of tag for some cardio for us both. I’m that guy at the party who’s talking more to the dog than anyone else.

Rosie loves her time with Taylor. When we get home she seems to have never missed a beat in her routine. Taylor is great about sending updates and photos so I don’t worry about our fur baby. .
Taylor is amazing. He was great with my dogs, and they love him. He sends videos and pictures daily, and it is a really cared about and for my pets. It made having to leave them much easier, knowing they were in such good hands.
We had a wonderful experience with Taylor! Our two little ones loved the attention he gave them and the walks he provided. I think they may have been a little sad when he didn’t come back after we got home. First time ever they weren’t over the moon to see us return!! Taylor’s attention to detail when reviewing the feeding guidelines was much appreciated and he kept in contact with updates. He would be my go-to sitter in a heartbeat.

It depends on the animal. I try to match the needs of the pet and make it as comfortable as possible. New people or spaces can make any animal uneasy. So it’s all about becoming friends slowly and earning that trust. I’ve yet to meet an animal I didn’t get along with, so here’s hoping I can keep that streak.

I pretty much go over everything in person, but it’s always good to know what things make them feel comfortable and uncomfortable so as to make they as happy as can be.
A typical day
Varies from day to day. Sometimes I’m photographing school Children in the morning or off doing a wedding. My background has me doing a variety of things to days free.

Availability
I work in the magical work of retail, so days I work are 9 hours long, and I take my lunch breaks for checking in on your home and pets. Most of the time I will have at least one or more days off of work during the stay and will be able to dedicate more time to your pets.
