Pet care experience
Jake (husband) grew up always having a large outside dog. We rescued our fur baby four years ago and love dogs. In our house, dogs are almost like people. When we've dog sat in the past, we end up with a bed full - and we love it! Taylor (wife) is a stay-at-home mom and occasionally has commitments outside the home, but is otherwise flexible during daytime hours. Our son is taught to respect animals and loves to play with them. We enjoy going to the walking track near our home, and also to the Elkin park nature trail. Our son loves to be an active participant in taking care of animals, helping to feed them and take them outside (with supervision). We love dogs!

We offer overnight pet sitting in our home. Our dog is now a senior and content to lay around, but our son especially needs to stay active, and we are all happy to comply with each dog’s needs.

We need to know a dog will not be aggressive. Our little dog plays around, but we know she's playing and she knows when to stop - that's what we need from other dogs. It is of utmost importance to us that our son and dog be safe around other dogs.
A typical day
We will go on neighborhood walks and walks on the nature trail at the park. We have fun toys and an active thirteen-year-old who enjoys playing with animals.

Between Taylor (mostly a stay-at-home mom), Jake (occasionally works from home), and our now 13 year old son (homeschooled), there is almost always someone home. The three of us share pet care responsibilities and loving on doggos :)
