Pet care experience
I have had 3 dogs in my life and I have pet sat and house sat for about 7 years now. I have recently moved back to Washington and working on finding a job and getting settled in. I am available throughout the week and over the weekends, as of right now I can let dogs out within 4-6 hours and then it will depend when I find a job. I do have 2 cats of my own that I love to death, and can't wait to get a dog of my own, but I do have to go home every day to care for them. I previously worked at a Dog Boarding facility for almost 2 years and so I have a pretty vast knowledge of dogs and how to care for them. I am comfortable working with any ages of pets and with most medical needs as well. Pet care fits into my daily routine already as I have 2 cats of my own so I am capable of taking care of them daily. I also have had dogs of my own in the past and know what a dog's daily routine could look like and will be able to accomodate. I care for pets with a lot of thought in mind. When I am pet sitting I plan my days around those pets and what they need.

Taylor did an amazing job watching our two pups. I highly recommend her and will be booking her for our future trips. She was incredibly caring, and communicative, sending pictures and texts throughout the two weeks. Our puppies were happy when we got home and we could tell they had been well cared for - not to mention our house was spotless!
Taylor house sat with my two dogs and did a wonderful job. They seemed happy and tired when I got home so I know that they had fun. Taylor communicated well and sent pictures of the dogs while I was away. I’ll definitely be asking Taylor to watch the dogs again in the future.
Taylor was great with our two dogs. She house sat for four nights. She kept in touch and made sure to send photos of our pups. We felt very comfortable having Taylor watching our home and dogs.
Taylor left my dog home alone for 14 hours total. She was 35 minutes late to start the stay and dropped in for 30 minutes mid-day during the “house sitting,” but only allowed him outside for a 2 minute potty break within the period of 3 AM-6 PM. I was notified by my nest doorbell. I know shelters that let their dogs out more frequently than that. There were several opportunities for her to communicate with me what was going on, as I reached out to her several times throughout the day, and she failed to be communicative. We ended up cancelling the rest of her stay (on day 1) and getting a friend to fill in as a result. This isn’t something I should have to deal with when I trust someone to look after my house and my pet while I’m traveling. If you decide to book with Taylor be very clear about your expectations because it feels like she was only giving the very bare minimum (if even the minimum at all). If you don’t want to take dogsitting seriously, don’t be a dogsitter.
