I have worked as a veterinary assistant for 4 years. I have extensive knowledge, training, and passion for animals and veterinary science. I am able to administer medications and SQ medications such as Insulin. I have CPR experience for both dogs and cats. I currently work at a hospital in Sparks, so I am always able to rush an animal into care if needed. I have knowledge and experience with special needs animals, and almost prefer them as one of my own dogs is blind. I have cared for blind, deaf, and handicapped pets. I have three pit-bulls that are my babies. For this reason, I love working with any large dog or breed that is commonly labeled as "dangerous" as I know this is not true. I have extensive experience working with timid, shy, and fearful animals, and know how to handle them in a way that is appropriate. When taking care of animals in the hospital setting or outside of it, I live by the motto of treating the animal how I would want MY animal to be treated. The purpose is to take care of the pet in the best way possible! I am dead set on being able to appropriately care for your pet and give them the love they deserve while you are gone or busy.
