Pet care experience
Hello, I am a college senior looking to broaden my experience working with animals. For the past two years, I have worked as a kennel assistant at an animal shelter. I love my job but would like more hands-on time with the animals. During my time working for the shelter, I have learned many skills such as basic commands, clicker training, and the appropriate demeanor to display around different dog behaviors. My main job is cleaning the kennels so no mess will scare me off. Due to this, I would be happy to be around puppies that have not yet been potty trained. My experience also allows me the ability to manage any dog size and behavior. Although my experience with cats is more limited I am more than willing to take care of them and any other exotic animals.

A typical day
One thing I love to do with my own dog is taking her to the dog park. With the owner's permission, I would be happy to do the same with their dog. Another one of my favorite places for a walk is any type of trail. There are always plenty of things to sniff and my dog seems to enjoy it. At home, we could play tug of war and fetch.
