Highly Skilled Pet Professional
Pet care experience
Exploring outside, playing games, learning new tricks, lounging around the house and taking car trips is what life's all about right? I became a certified trainer in 2014, in addition to a long background of working with dogs of different temperaments and needs. I have since also donated my expertise to the Humane Society. I have since taken classes on pet first aide and CPR as well as medicine administration. I am also well versed in behavior modification and dog communication.
Reviews
Taylor has been phenomenal! She’s very thoughtful and communicative . In just a couple of weeks we noticed a significant improvement in our dog’s walking habits. She also consistently sends adorable photos from each walk with very helpful tips which brighten up our day!
My 13 year old pitbull loves Taylor so much. Plus, her check-ins are descriptive and have plenty of pics. Quality sitter, here!
Taylor is absolutely wonderful! She connected so well with our two dogs, Mia and Panda. We are incredibly grateful to have found her on Rover to help with our dogs. I would highly recommend her!
Taylor is FANTASTIC - so communicative, so great with dogs, kind, compassionate, and also took great care of our house while house-sitting. Highly recommend!

A typical day
A tired dog is a well behaved dog! For house-sitting, I always dedicate at least 3 hours per day of focused time to putting your pet's mind and body to active use! Walks have included scenic hilly strolls through Queen Anne, visits to Ballard and the beach, and for pups who are up to it, jogs, including through iconic Seattle parks like Discovery, Seward, and Kerry. Games include "find it", "fetch", "tugs", "this or that", and learning fun tricks like jumping over an object on cue, roll over, sit pretty, high five and more! I will often scatter a few treats around and have them sniff around for them. They love it! Since I have many years of dog training and behavior modification training, if you have any cues or training you have been working on, feel free to let me know and we can work on that too :)

Availability
I do my best to keep to the pet's current schedule and my schedule is very fluid as well. I may have to leave for short bursts to check on other dogs and run the occasional errand, so keep this in mind if you need to book a longer stay with me!
