I have been pet-sitting since I can remember. Growing up we would watch family member's pets when they went away and that quickly expanded to taking care of family friend's pets and then on to friends of friends. I take pride in being trusted by pet owners and confident that I will provide your pet a safe and comfortable experience while you are away. As I got older, I started to do basic dog training (crate and potty training, basic commands) both with home visits and guidance, advice and support. My dream is to one day open my very own dog boarding retreat facility. I genuinely love animals and treat every dog like they're my own. I have a 6 yr old female, spayed, pitbull mix. It is important to me that our pets will get along. Luna does not do well with cats and only some small breeds. Longer stays will require a meet and greet to ensure all pets are safe and happy. We will not watch cats in-home but are happy to do home visits for cats. I consider myself well versed in dog behavior, breed differences, and general dog psychology. I surround myself with "dog-people" and have close connections to veterinarians, vet techs, certified hunting dog trainers, dog breeders and showers , and pet enthusiasts. I am confident in my ability to take care of your fur baby.
