Pet care experience
I have four dogs, a bunny, an iguana, and two bearded dragons! I’ve had pets all my life and have volunteered at a pet rescue for years. I also did a two-year research program where I studied mastocytoma (a type of cancer in dogs) and worked in a Cornell laboratory for a summer. Animals are my passion and I am very flexible when it comes to your pets' needs. I have worked with a wide range of dogs, including housesitting for a dog on multiple medications with a severe disability of her back legs. I also have experience with animal selective dogs. I am flexible with rates and needs as well! So don’t be shy to ask :)

I mostly prefer working in the clients home because then the animal is in their own environment and less overwhelmed. It’s important that the animal is in a safe environment with nothing bad it can get into, and in a secure environment where it can’t get out easily.

Ahead of time I like to get to know about your dog. I need to know if they are on any special medications. It’s also important to know how they interact with other animals. I wouldn’t want to take them to a dog park if they don’t like other dogs, for example. I would also need to know any special accommodations they might need!
A typical day
The dogs in my care will get to do their favorite activities! I love to take the dogs on walks and runs, go to dog parks to play with other dogs, play with dog toys, and my dogs love to watch animal planet too.

Availability
I like to fill my schedule so I tend to be a busy person but always find time for pet care! My personal pets are on a schedule, so they know daily when they will get food and given extra exercise. And who doesn’t always have time for cuddles?
