Animal Lover w/ Medical Training

Pet care experience

I have taken care of cats and dogs for over 9 years starting in a shelter and progressing to a veterinary hospital. I have 7 years of experience in animal welfare and 5 as a Veterinary Assistant. I have experience with dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, bearded dragons, frogs, and small animals such as rabbits and ferrets. I am able to give your pets the attention they want as well as assess their general wellness and administer medications they need. My personal zoo consists of a cat, rabbit and pup and I have had gerbils, and a beardie.

I traveled out of state for a few days and contacted Taylor to take care of my cat Gracie. While I was away, Taylor took excellent care of Gracie, and provided numerous photos ("Ploofs of Life") every day so I could see for myself that my cat was doing well during my absence. Taylor is the absolute best!!!

Taylor is a delight! Our dog, Dr. Watson, has a huge crush on her. We love that her schedule works with ours and that she is incredibly prompt! Also, having worked a good deal with veterinary practices, Taylor has pracrical experience with dogs. We all look forward to Taylor's doggy visits!

Taylor did a wonderful job watching our young energetic cat. She is clearly very comfortable with cats and gave great daily reports and pictures. I'd highly recommend her to others!

Highly recommend! Taylor was quick to confirm the scheduled drop-ins and pre-booking meeting. It was nice knowing my cat was very well taken care of while I was gone.

I ensure that all doors are locked, leashes/collars/harnesses are secure and I always have a slip lead to use as a second leash if approved by you. I am able to assess other dogs body language from my experience and hope it is never needed, but I have experience breaking up a fight should one ever occur. Your babies are mine while they are with me and I will treat them with the same caution and protection I treat my own.

Information Taylor D. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know what special needs your pet has whether it be medical or behavioral so I can set them up for a stress free successful visit! Please let me know if you do not wish to have your pets pictures posted on social media, I occasionally use the photos I send during a visit to promote my service with the only information being their name (ie: “Fido” ) You can find them posted on Instagram at @PootScootNBoogie

A typical day

I love talking dogs for stimulating walks with training treats, a favorite toy or a buddy. But if they prefer to be a couch potato I will gladly give them some one-on-one snuggles.

I currently have a full time job but miss the pets I use to care for day to day. So Rover is my “side gig”. I am available for morning, lunch, and evening visits during the work week and anytime on weekends. If you have animals other than dogs and cats, schedule under “cat” as I use this pricing option for my small animal clients. If you have a question feel free to shoot me a message!
