About me: I am a lover of all animals. I can't think of a more rewarding way to make a living than taking care of our beloved and adoring companions. I have been a pet caregiver all my life—cohabitating and providing care for dogs, cats, and a wide range of other critters, and I have been pet sitting for clients for about 10 years. I have also volunteered with several rescue societies, fostering many dogs and cats over the years of all ages, training levels, and health statuses, and helping them learn new skills and find their furrever families. When working with my clients, my goal is to figure out your pets favorite things- treats, walks, fetch, belly rubs- and use that to develop a friendship based on trust, respect, and love. I know they are missing you and I like to be able to make their day a little easier and more fun while they wait for your return. I am an absolute nerd about training and pet health. I research a lot of positive training techniques and holistic and natural pet care for common ailments (allergies, chronic indigestion, etc.). I'm not a professional trainer or veterinarian, but I'm glad to share my thoughts/research. I can provide light grooming services (baths, fur clipping for calmer pets), and have experience administering medications, subcutaneous injections, and monitoring special diet and exercise regimens.
