Pet care experience
I’ve lived with dogs quite literally since I was born. Most recently I had a mini Australian shepherd who lived with me in NYC so I have city-pup life down to a T. Rover wasn’t an option while he was in my life, but now im back looking to fill my furry friend void. When your pup is in my care I can promise they’ll be taken care of like the prince or princess they are. I live across the street from a dog park for those that like a good game of fetch or like to run around (I prefer to take them to run around alone vs when it's busy with other dogs), and for those that prefer more relaxed exercise I know all the quieter streets for long walks. I work from home so they’ll never be left home alone. I also have experience with senior dogs, reactive dogs, and young puppies.

I live in an apartment building that is extremely dog friendly. In my home dogs are welcome on the furniture (if that’s ok with you) and we have a dog bed and toys already for them to feel comfortable. The building has an elevator but for dogs that may be too scared or need extra personal space there’s a side entrance with stairs we can use.

A typical day
When petsitting, the dog(s) will enjoy walks, cuddles, and all around amazing care. I live across the street from the river so plenty of long walks along the parks. For dogs that are allowed to go, the dog run at the corner is a fun spot to play too.

Availability
I work from home and used to have my own dog so pet care is part of the day-to-day. A typical day could include morning walks along the DUMBO park walkways or a visit to the dog run (I prefer to take them during off hours when it's empty for some outdoor play time to start off the day). During the work day pups get a 15-30 minute walk every 2-3 hours until the evening. Before dinner there's another trip to the park or a long walk and then evening play time winds down with some cuddles.
