Pet care experience
My husband and I have owned dogs all our lives and really enjoy all animals. Currently I am home full time as I am a full time online student. I have a fenced in back yard and dog of my own. He’s 30 pounds and very playful. Not only do I have experience from previous dogs I’ve owned but I used to volunteer at an animal shelter back in Chicago. My house is very pet friendly. We allow dogs on our couch and bed. We live in a three bedroom house, so we have lots of room for your pups! I like going for long walks with the dogs, but I also enjoy cuddling up with dogs who aren’t as energetic or mobile. I would recommend bringing all your dogs favorite things with them to help them feel more at home. I would love it if our dogs were able to meet prior, but as long as your dog is dog friendly mine will love yours! I also live on Fort Belvoir so I hope that isn’t a problem for you! Our dog had a wonderful stay with Taylor! She is 16+ years old and starting to develop some "special needs". Taylor was really attentive in listening to my requests and communicated daily regarding how things were going. Our dog usually has challenges with transitions, even when traveling with us. However, she transitioned home absolutely seamlessly, which was such a wonderful relief. I think she might have actually liked being at Taylor's more than home!! Taylor will absolutely be our first call if we need to travel without our dog again. I highly recommend her!
