Pet care experience
I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, taking care of our family dogs and horses since as far back as my memory serves. My wife and I currently have a 4 y/o Goldendoodle named Chief who we have raised & trained since he was 8 weeks old. He's grown up to be the most loving, athletic, playful, and disciplined dog we could ever have imagined. If he could talk, I'm sure he'd tell you that he's living his best life.

Over a year ago I was walking along the Esplanade when my puppy met Chief. The two pups hit it off and it was pure joy to watch them play. I found Taylor and Lauren to be exceptionally lovely, genuine, friendly and kind people. I was so excited when I saw Taylor registered on Rover!! It's important to me to leave my dog with people who will care and love him like their own. Taylor responded immediately telling me that they were all so excited that my dog was going to spend the day with them. This made me feel good and put my mind and heart at ease. And I was so delighted that my boy was going to have a great day playing with Chief, Taylor and Lauren. I appreciated the timely communication and the many photos received as I went about my day. One of the photos showed my dog sitting in a chair in their living room making himself completely at home with a huge smile on his face. So cute! This was our first Rover experience and my active, happy little guy came home, ate dinner, and went right to sleep. His day had a healthy dose of mental and physical stimulation. This family has a loving welcoming home where your dog will be cared for without worry and will have the best day ever!!
This was the best boarding experience we’ve had. The environment looked clean and warm, Chief and Taylor were excellent hosts and Chief was even kind enough to let Bruno sleep in his cozy bed. Taylor provided frequent updates of them at the dog park and otherwise having a fun time. We felt super secure that our fur baby was well taken care of. Will absolutely book again!
Taylor really helped us out. We needed a last minute dig sitter for the day on the long weekend and Taylor came through. He was fast to respond, so sweet with Addie and kept me updated with photos. Highly recommend!
Bailey had the best time with Taylor and his family!

We have a front yard with plenty of space for your pup to play under supervision w/ a 30ft or 50ft long leash. From our front door, your dog will have its choice to walk two blocks west to the beach, or two blocks east to a spacious/enclosed park that allows dogs. My dog, Chief, roams freely in the home and is always looking for friends to stare out the front windows with, but is also more than happy to lend his large crate to another pup who'd prefer that.

A typical day
I am a very active person, and love to pass that on to the dogs I take care of. Some of the activities I love to do with my dog include fetch at the park, going for a run at the beach, hikes in Palos Verdes, and a drive to the dog park (Bluff Creek Dog Park in particular) Bluff Creek is great because the surface is artificial turf with the area split into two according to the size of the dog, and they always have a security guard on duty who keeps an eye on dogs (or people) that might create some trouble for the others. I would love to take your dog along with me on any of the activities listed, and am very open to any suggestions that you know your dog would love and be comfortable with.

Availability
I currently own & operate a youth sport-specific training business, so I work from home in the mornings and make my own training schedule in the afternoons. My own dog gets more attention than he asks for, so I have plenty to share with yours!
