Pet care experience
My family has owned cats and dogs for a large chunk of my life, and moving away from home means I miss it more than anything. We owned a chocolate lab and have had a few shiba inus, so I’m experienced with both big and small dogs. We also had all types of cats. I’m not in a place to have my own pet unfortunately, so I want to love your pet in the meantime! If requested I can run with your dog, bring them to the dog park, help teach basic commands, help with special needs dogs (one of our shibas was special needs), and much more. I love all kinds of pets (rodents included) and my most open availability is the weekend, so you can enjoy your weekend getaway knowing your pet is being loved and well-taken care of.

Taylor was truly amazing to work with! Our pups were super comfortable with her and her communication with us was superb! Taylor made sure both of our pups were comfortable and made sure to spend time with them after their walks. After being with our pups all the time for the past year or so, Taylor put our minds at rest while we were gone for the day.
We reached out to Taylor last minute to check in on our pups as we were going to be at Disneyland all day, and she emediately responded with availability. she came over the next morning to meet our dogs, and they both loved her right away. Taylor was super easy to communicate with, was very responsive and made sure our dogs were well taken care of while we were away! We came home to two happy pups, with no accidents in the house! Prior to watching your pet, I would like to know their basic routine and preferences. I would also like to know what they do not like so I can make sure they don’t get upset.
A typical day
When I watch your pets, I am available to do whatever you like! I love playing fetch and tug-of-war with dogs or laser pointers with cats (if you are okay with that). I also like to provide pictures of us playing or walking. I usually keep walks in familiar areas for the dog, so I can minimize any potential risk.

I am currently in graduate school, so evenings and weekends are my availability. I live in Peoria but I am willing to travel up to 30 minutes
