Pet care experience
When in my care dogs will enjoy a variety of fun and engaging activities in a safe home environment. They will be treated as one of the family for the duration of their stay. Similarly to people dogs can become bored easily, which is why it's important to keep them engaged physically and mentally. I do this by changing up the type of play and toys to help keep them happy and tired. Because of my scedule I am available most days and times so I can easily keep up with any type of dog. I have exprience in basic training, food allergies, special medical needs, early socialization, potty training and grooming. When it comes to the owner I am all ears. I prefer to know as much as I can when it comes to meeting new dogs to make sure we both have a safe and fun time.
Reviews
Tayler was wonderful with our dog. He love play with her dog all weekend long. We really appreciated the daily updates and pictures.
Tayler was great! Would board Daisy again at Tayler's in a heartbeat! Tayler was very clear in communicating, sent me regular updates with lovely photos and gracefully accepted all additional care instructions for Daisy. When I took Daisy for the second time to board at Tayler's place, she recognized the scents and got very excited to be there! 😄
My family took a long international trip and we were nervous about finding a dog-sitter who we could trust for over two weeks. We found Tayler based on positive reviews, and we were NOT disappointed. Tayler sent us daily updates and pictures and we could see that our boy was well taken care of, having a wonderful time, and treated like family. Tayler gave us piece of mind that we didn't have to worry about our boy while we were away, and we are definitely going to be in touch for future stays!!
Tayler was great! Appreciated the daily updates and feeling like my dog was well taken care of while having a ton of fun!

A typical day
- We have a large, fully fenced backyard. The dogs can enjoy zooming throughout the grass, chasing each other, wrestling, playing fetch or playing with bubbles. In the summer, we also set up a kiddie pool and sprinklers. We often have a sandbox that we allow our dogs to get out there digging urges. - We have a large multistory, open-concept home. There is lots of room for the dogs to roam and play inside. They generally like to also wrestle inside, but mainly we play with toys. Some of these include fetch, tug, bubbles or hidden treat toys. We believe that mental stimulation is just as important to a happy dog as physical exercise, which is why he have loads of toys that fulfill that role. - For dogs that like to chew, we have some of the strongest chew toys, along with antler bones. We do not give them rawhides, or the marrow types since they are not safe. All toys and bones are always checked to be the correct size for the dogs before they are given, and none are left with them unattended. - Other than the kitchen our house is fully carpeted, which is best for dogs since it helps to keep them from slipping, and larger or older dogs, often have issues getting up on hard floors. -We don't allow the dogs in the basement, so there are minimal stairs that they have to traverse. - We can easily accommodate puppies, we have gates that we can set up in the house to limit their area to keep a better eye on them. We also have playpens and crates if needed. - Dogs are never left alone or unsupervised, especially when together playing. There is always someone home looking after them. - The dogs have regular potty breaks every few hours or when they alert us that they need to go outside. We are easily able to accommodate puppies or potty training dogs that need to go outside more often. We believe consistency is key, which is why we stick to a schedule for feeding times and bathroom breaks. For puppies, we also limit water before bed to help with reducing accidents. Just let us know your schedule and we will stick to it, which will make the transition easier. - Our dogs, Aiden and Murphy play well with other dogs. Murphy likes to run around and wrestle and is good with high energy dogs. They both do well with seniors and puppies, along with both large and small dogs. They are very adaptable. - We have a nice neighborhood. There are lots of residential routes that all have great sidewalks. We also have a beautiful park only .25 miles from our home. - I have experience with training dogs, so at the owner's discretion, that can also be worked into there stay with us.
