Hi all! I grew up on a farm in the Midwest, raising sheep, goats, chickens, llamas, a donkey, calves and a horse. Pets have always been an important part of my life between my involvement in 4-H, performing farm husbandry duties, cherishing the companionship of our dogs and cats, and spending time with other small animal pets including a guinea pig, rabbit, and parakeet. I'm comfortable and familiar with many types of animals, and I absolutely love hanging out with other peoples' pets and getting to know their personalities. Outside of growing up surrounded by animals, I've been actively house and pet-sitting for four years while living on a small island in SE Alaska. I've also been living with a border collie who recently turned three; his name is Ziggy, he loves playing fetch, and he is the beautiful pup in my Rover photo from a roadtrip in northern AK. With my diverse background in pet caretaking, I am comfortable working with the full range of pets and farm animals. I am active and love getting dogs out with me. Additionally, I will work with you to establish the best routine for your pet during overnight pet-sitting and check-in visits. Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me!
