Pet care experience
I have loved dogs forever and been dog sitting and walking since I was 17 years old. I’ve walked the most excitable lab puppies to the most relaxed old yorkies. Right now I have a 13 year old lab, so I definitely understand that the older guys need more patience, enjoy more time to sniff around, or even some help with stairs sometimes. The best thing about spending time with dogs is learning their personalities and all of their favorite things, like certain toys and treats, or even favorite places to walk and sniff. I am currently available for 3 pm to 6:30 pm walks and visits Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I can’t wait to meet your dog and spend some time with them!

Tayla has cared for my pup Toby on several occasions, once overnight. Toby absolutely fell in love with Tayla and didn't miss me at all (ha!). She is patient and attentive, and immediately put Toby at ease. I felt very comfortable with having Tayla care for Toby because Tayla has experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments. She's super friendly and easy-going; the perfect companion for my rescue pup. I'd ask her to care for Toby again in a heartbeat!
I could not reccomend Tayla more! She has watched my dog Whiskey overnight as well as taken him for walks on days when I wasn’t able to. She always comes with treats and toys and he absolutely loves her! I know for a fact that she treats every dog with love and respect and takes so much joy and pride in learning each individual dog’s likes and dislikes.

I’d love to know about any of their favorite things! If they love certain treats, playing fetch or tug, or even if they have a favorite route to walk. I’d also love to know if they’re high energy or pretty calm, how they are with other dogs and strangers, how they are on leash, and anything pertaining to their safety. For example, if they like to chase cars, if they’re scared of bikes, etc.
A typical day
I’ll adapt to your dogs preferences, always staying away from main roads if possible. If your dog loves a certain route, we can stick with that, or mix it up if they’re super curious. We can play tug or fetch, or just have a more relaxed time.
