Pet care experience
I have been caring for animals since before I started grade school. My family tree is full of animal care specialists who have made a career out of caring for domesticated pets and wildlife. As a professional adult I have worked at a wildlife rehab facility and a groom and board facility for a combined 3 years. My personal experience includes a lifetime of being a pet parent. The career path I am working towards is that of the veterinary/zoology field. I am incredibly passionate about animal care. Loving pet parents are my favorite kind of people, and I assure you I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own. I have always had an innate ability to connect with animals very quickly. I’ve never met a dog or a cat who didn’t immediately gravitate towards me. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard “wow, they don’t usually act that way with strangers” I would never have to work again lol A short list of animals I have extensive experience with: dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, ferrets, birds, fish, turtles, raccoons, and possums.

Taye is the BEST. She follows directions, asks great questions, and is very communicative. More importantly, its clear that she genuinely cares about our animals and always goes above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of and loved on. We're so grateful to have found her!
I have had Taye watch my fur babies on multiple occasions. She is extremely interactive with them and I knew all of their needs would be met. Not only did she take care of them during the day while I was working, but I often relied on her when I was away for an extended period. She followed my feeding and potty time schedule beautifully. On one occasion my hound needed medication and she had no difficulty ensuring it was administered on time and with gentle care. My hound does not like medicine and for her to have no problems was a blessing! I would not hesitate to call upon her again if I needed her!

Information Taye N. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if there are any restrictions for each pet, including feeding, treats, and interaction with other dogs. I do not have any breed preferences. I don’t have any species restrictions either, for the most part. I am comfortable with rodent, feline, canine, avian, reptilian, etc.
A typical day
We will go to various parks in close proximity to the home of the dog. If approved by pet parent, I do have a registered ESA dog who loves to play, and can accompany us on any trip. I have lots of toys that can be played with, and treats to be enjoyed (if dog mom/dad says it’s okay of course!) I am all for sitting quietly nearby without any interaction just so your kitty friend doesn’t feel alone. However I’m also thrilled whenever a cat *wants* me to pet them, and I absolutely will do so!

I am a mother of one, to an almost threenager. I typically work Monday-Friday. I can always make time for a morning and evening drop in during the week, and can do more on a weekend.
