I’ve been around dogs and either helped or fully taken care of them almost my entire life but was a dog mom for nearly two decades. My last pups came to me when they were just old enough to leave their mom and I was very young. But after almost 18 years, at the end of 2021, we had to say goodbye to our last fur-baby and our house has not been the same since. We’re hoping to bring back some pet joy in our home by helping others with their boarding and care-taking needs.

Tawyna was a wonderful sitter for our older dog. We were nervous to leave him for over a week but her daily updates and photos helped us to relax and know he was in good hands. I especially liked that she and her family were open to his peculiarities and accommodated his feeding times, his walks, and need for backyard time. We know he got lots of love while he was at Tawnya's and t seemed like he felt as "at home" as he could have felt while away from home.
Tawnya took excellent care of my dog Mochi. She kept me updated throughout the day and Mochi was happy and playful. Highly recommended!

If you board with us: We have a large fully fenced yard, for plenty of outside time. Our neighborhood has sidewalks and is a great for dog walks. We also have the perfect spot for sunbathing in our kitchen but do have AC for those hot days. And, we’re experienced in crate trained dogs and can do that if needed. While we don’t mind pets on our furniture, if you don’t allow that in your home, we will follow and reinforce your rules. For car rides, we used dog car seats for over 10 years. We prefer them or a harness for their safety. Other services: I’ve always been a punctual person. If you’ve booked my drop-in or dog walking services, I’ll be on time, making sure your doggy gets what they need.

Availability
I’m currently a stay-at-home mom. I have a few errands to run, mostly Monday-Friday, but am never gone for more than a couple of hours at a time. If your doggy is a joyrider and likes to go for a cruise, I’ll bring them along for school and activity drop-offs and pick-ups.
