Pet care experience
I’ve always been an animal lover and after I was medically discharged from the Army I attended school to become a veterinary assistant. I graduated from veterinary assistance school in 2008 and really enjoyed helping animals in need. When I had my daughter in 2009 I became a stay-at-home mom and further pursued my passion for animals by training my dogs to volunteer with the GO Team Therapy Dogs. I also gained experience training service dogs during that same time. I’m a true animal lover and I enjoy getting to understand the different personalities that come with each different animal I meet. Engaging in fun activities to mentally and physically engage our wonderful furry friends is very rewarding to me. I always go the extra mile when it comes to you and your pooch!

Tawny has been wonderful while on my trip. She sends lots of pictures and is a very caring and wonderful person. Her daughter is a delight and my fur babies are so blessed to have them. Tawny is staying at my home and I have not had one worry since I left. I hope she will take care of them again for me in the future. You hire Tawny, you hire a wonderful woman with a integrity and honesty and a love for animals.
Tawny was the hero of the week - we needed a very last minute sitter to help with one of our cats medicine and she instantly made me feel at ease. Loved all of the photos she sent!

A typical day
I love walking dogs and playing fetch just to see the joy on their faces. If it's really cold I love to brush/snuggle them and watch movies or talk to them like they understand.

Availability
I’m currently self-employed as a housekeeper from around 9am to 3pm most days but the rest of my day is free to care for and snuggle your wonderful animals. Being as I am self-employed I have some flexibility and with enough notice can accommodate special requests on a case by case basis. I can even clean your house while you are away for an additional cost if you would like.
