Pet care experience
I'm Tavia and I've cared for dogs for more than six years. I have two rescues - a schnauzer mix and a shepherd mix - and we volunteer as therapy dog teams together. My dogs live an active lifestyle, so I provide regular exercise in my fenced yard. I have training in recognizing and understanding canine body language, comfort signals, and stress signals; I'm also experienced in resolving these issues and alleviating discomfort your pet may feel from being in a new environment or being away from their pet parent. Experienced in obedience training, I'm happy to integrate any training routines into my care to reinforce skills you're developing with your best pal. I'm available to become your pet's next best friend on weeknights and weekends.

A typical day
I live 10 mins from Neptune Beach and 10 mins from Jacksonville Arboretum and Gardens. Both are great places for your pet to exercise and experience the world. At home, I have a cornucopia of toys and a variety of treats (including whole grain and gluten-free treats) to keep them excited and motivated. I have everything your dog needs at my house already, so don't fuss about packing the basics for your pup. I'm happy to provide the following during their stay: Toys and treats Dog bed Large sunroom for playtime Harness for small or medium sized dog Reflective AKC standard training leash Food and water bowls Small and large kennels Calming treats, spray, or ointment
